I had already borrowed a dress from a local designer to wear to Anugerah Juara Lagu, but it is grey in colour and I just knew if I wore it, the whole night I would be thinking to myself, "I don't like this dress...why am I wearing this dress.."I wanted to wear something bright...
Then I got an idea..
I took out my pink sari material. Cut two pieces of about 1.5 metres each from it. Tied the first piece around my waist, tied the second piece around my neck, added a silver traditional belt, silver shoes, Indian style bangles and I was done. Hair I just got it blow dried at the hairdresser and make up I did myself.
So this dress, was literally two pieces of sari material tied around me. Fast, easy, and cheap!
