abandoned houses and a sunset..

Whenever I see abandoned houses like this, I can't help but wonder who used to live there and what happened that resulted in it being abandoned. A love story gone wrong? A family feud? I saw this house while travelling back from my last location. I just find them so fasciniating and feel tempted to go inside and see if I can find anything that could tell me the story. A family photo or a necklace..... I have a very big imagination....

And I couldn't resist taking a pictur of this beautiful sunset.

Yeah.. me too.. I always like 'hmmm sayangnyaaa..'.. Especially the traditional houses. There arent many nowadays.. I think such houses are very precious.. The memories and the stories left behind.. My grandparents passed away last year, and seeing their house without them inside, it feels so sad.. :(

when the owner passed away, so do the house..usually.. unless for those who really care..

when i look at old abandoned houses ( plenty of them here in Ipoh) i kept seeing scaffolding. my mind automatically imagine the house when it was under construction. dunno why. too much history channel i guess? i love the Digging for the Truth series.plnety of reinactment in there. that could explain the whole scaffolding thing

Funnily enough what you imagined above can actually happen. That one named artifact can help start to piece together a buildings long forgotten past. Malaysia has so many fascinating old buildings that are just abandoned, some nearing 100 years old now. I specialize in tracking down places like this before they are lost forever ....
