Today we visited the Lanyang Museum in the Yilan county of Taiwan.

my favourite golden globe looks

I haven't written about anything related to fashion for a long time, so I thought I would do one today.

I still have a 'don't buy anymore black' rule when it comes to my shopping unless it's something really different... I'm really wearing a lot more colour nowadays and my wardrobe doesn't look as black as it used to..

Looks I am loving more and more anything that looks 40's or 50's inspired, especially anything with a cinched waist. And I love fringing!

I have both the black fringe and coloured fringe top shop jackets that kate moss and karolina kurkova are wearing in the pics below and what is so cool about fringing is that when you walk, it moves and shakes a little bit. Really nice!

A fashion photo blogger you should definitely look at, tommy ton. He takes really awesome pictures at fashions shows but I love most is his behind the scenes or the street fashion pics he takes.

One of Tommy Ton's favourite people to photograph is Anna Dello Russo. She is the editor of Vogue Nippon and wears the most amazing and insane clothes. A new fashion icon for me.

When I saw this pic of Kim Kardashian wearing the cape, I knew I had to get one like it. I prefer really long capes but ones this length are more practical. Managed to find one something like it at Zara. Yay! Bit crazy to wear it in Malaysia, so keeping it for when I go to cooler places.

And Victoria Beckham is pregnant with baby number 4! Can't wait to see how she dresses during this pregnancy and I am sure she will also ended up designing some maternity friendly clothes in her upcoming collections. Love the high waisted white pants she's wearing in this picture. I just saw a pair at Miss Selfridge, looks a bit like these but in black. What I like about high waisted pants is that your waist looks small, you definitly look taller and when you sit down, don't have to worry about people seeing your underwear. :)

And I have started designing my own clothes. :)
hopefully by the middle of the year I will be able to share some of the designs with you. :)

please be careful...

during lunch break today, I needed to go to a shop near Atria Shopping Centre to stock up on my herbal medicines. My handbag was really full of papers and notebooks so i thought no need to bring my handbag, just my wallet, keys, handphone and laptop (because my mother always tells me don't leave your laptop in your car)

So I got out the car. I was holding everything in front of me when suddenly, a guy on a motorbike came in front of me and grabbed my wallet straight out of my hand.

I was so shocked i dropped everything except my laptop. I quickly truned around to try and at least see his liscense plate number but he was gone.

I stood there, in the middle of the road for a while, trying to think, what happened?

I went to inform the shop that I couldn't pick up my order because obviously, I had no money then got in my car and drove straight to the bank to cancel all cards, then went to police station to make a report because I can't apply for some of the cards again without police report.

And here was I thinking up until today, if i don't carry a handbag, not as easy to rob me.

Yea, right... still kena....

When i was at the police station, they were telling me that a lot of women are like me, think not carrying a handbag will make us not so easy a target, but it can happen anyway..

So really now, I have no idea what to do anymore... carry handbag, dangerous, carry wallet, dangerous... so how?

Put everything in my underwear then everytime i need to pay for something i put my hands in there?!

Anyway, the policemen all said lucky I didn't fall (eventhough I was wearing high heels) and lucky he didn't hit me with his motorbike... we've all read in the newspapers how people get hit while these people try to snatch something... there have been some death cases.

So everyone, please just be careful...

lucky i'm ok, could be in a hospital right now... I somehow think that because I was holding my laptop in front of me, I didn't get hurt, because he could only grab my hand and hit the laptop, not my body....

Lucky I listen to my mother... :)
