Big warehouse sale happening this weekend!
Some tips for you..
wear tights, a tight t-shirt and slippers cause there are no changing rooms so you have to try everything on top of the clothes you wear.
No big handbags allowed in.
Tie your hair up in a big bun cause with the crowd that will be there you will definitely sweat and your hair will just get in the way.
Be prepared to dig through lots of clothes to find a bargain.
Take your time.
The sale has mainly clothes.
It will be crowded so have to be a bit patient.
Credit cards and cash both accepted.
Hope you find some good bargains! I am sure you will cause some of the items are seriously 90% off!

Leo the dog saves kittens...
"Family pooch Leo risked his life to save a litter of newborn kittens from flames engulfing a house and was hailed as a hero by Australian fire brigade.
Leo's owners, a family of four, had escaped from their blazing home in Melbourne, with a second dog. But Leo, a jack russell cross, refused to leave the building. Believing one person unaccounted for, firemen entered the house, where they found him standing guard over the kittens despite the thick, acrid smoke.
Outside, Leo, who had lost consciousness and stopped breathing, was revived, with rescuers giving him oxygen and a heart massage. The kittens, in a cardboard box in a bedroom, also needed treatment.
Ken Brown, a fire service commander, said yesterday: "Leo wouldn't leave the kittens, and it nearly cost him his life." He said the family were relieved to be reunited with all their pets. "Everyone's fine," he said. "We rescued everyone.""

2 years since Kira left us...
It has been two years now since darling Kira was found dead by the side of the road not far from my family home.
We still think of you and miss you Kira. Schizo has never been the same since you left. When she lost you, she lost her soul mate.
And we all agree you were the happiest cat.
Rest in peace my little one...

???????
"Kenapa you tak faham?" I ask
"Apa benda kat dalam mulut you tu? Braces dah letak eh?"
"Ya..."
"Macam mana nak buat voice over nanti?"
"Entah lah.... it's going to take time..."
"ha ha ha ha ha!!! Aduh..... tak tahu lah apa akan jadi..."
So although no one can actually see my braces unless I open my mouth wide, look up and point to them, it's obvious I've got something in my mouth cause of the way I talk...
I'm going to have to delay putting in the bottom row of braces.... at least until i don't sound like someone with a speech problem. It is so frustrating because my job depends so much on speaking clearly.
Unless you are super vain, don't bother getting braces...
while out with a friend for dinner just now, i choked on spinach because as I was trying to chew it, it got stuck in one of the braces and I couldn't swallow it properly, so I choked. so not fun!

before new year resolutions...
i'm now working towards fulfilling some resolutions before the new year...
they are not difficult resolutions, just require some cold, hard will power to complete them...
they include saving up money, working out more, cutting down on my sugar intake, clearing out all my unwanted junk, learning how to talk better with my braces and finishing a painting i promised one of my best friends.

I am uncomfortable and in pain....
To any dentist reading this, please do not take that comment personally. I'm sure you are all very nice people..
Ok, I'll correct myself. I hate dentistry. Is that better?
I first had braces while I was in school. I hated it.
I had to take my right lower wisdom tooth out 3 years ago. The stupid dentist couldn't pull it out. When I started screaming in pain despite the anaesthetic injection which may numb the pain a bit but I could still feel it being pulled out, she said to me, "You are making this too difficult for me. I can't do this. I'm calling another dentist"
I am making it difficult for you?! Excuse me, if you can't do something, don't start what you can't finish.
She dropped that thing that you use to pull teeth out with and left me in the chair with a half dislodged tooth. I started crying and had no choice but to wait for the next dentist. In the meantime, the anaesthesia starts to wear off and I start to feel sick from the pain.
When the next dentist came, I needed another round of injections and again my tooth is pulled. ..and pulled...and pulled... "Your root is hooked. I need to cut into your gums..." So more injections, some cutting and finally the tooth is out. By the way, I was crying this whole time and my father ended up cancelling all his meetings and staying with me at this horrible dentist clinic holding my hand and wiping my tears.
When the ordeal was finally over, the swelling on the right side of my face was so bad I had to take very heavy painkillers and had to take MC for a week.
In recent years, my teeth have started to move again therefore they are not as perfect as they once were. I visited a few dentists and all said the same thing. I need braces again. I tried to find alternatives to avoid going through the pain again. Unfortunately, there were none.
Technology has improved since ten years ago so now you can get braces at the back of your teeth so they can't be seen. Considering my job, I have no choice but to put them in. It looks like this.
I went to put them him only yesterday.
First the dentist showed me x rays...
Then I was led into the room...
I saw these things and I started to feel sick. I don't understand myself. I can watch hours of CSI while eating and not feel sick, but a look at some x rays and medical instruments and I'm nauseaus.
I had to wear these glasses.
I survived the ordeal although I choked on my saliva cause the nurse wasn't paying attention to what she was doing, and also choked on the plastic thing they kept trying to put in my mouth to keep it open. I honestly almost started crying right then.
I survived and I was surpised I didn't feel much pain.
That was yesterday. Today and right now, my tongue feels swollen cause of the constant rubbing against the braces, I can't talk properly, I can barely eat, I can't chew anything so I am eating baby food and everything tastes like metal.
So I am not in a good mood...
I still went for the COACH event tonight though...
I wore a white MNG dress with my COACH necklace wrapped around my wrist and my one and only COACH bag.
I didn't find the new MADISON collection inspiring. Maybe I can't think straight cause of how uncomfortable my mouth feels.
The worst part is that only the top row has been put in! I have to go back next week to put the lower teeth braces in...
Then I think I will only speak when spoken to, communicate via sms and emails only and drink juices only...
To all the people reading this who have braces too, I know your pain. And if you have braces at the front of your teeth, you're lucky. It is really less painful than having them at the back of your teeth. I am going to become an expert on braces..Now that I have experienced both types...
Luckily my boys are behaving... It's very rare they can sit so closely together like this without Lord Derbyshire biting Tippex and kitty kat war begins....

Different looks for different events...
2 - Harper's Bazaar pink party
3 - COACH launch of Madison range
4 - Tatler Ball
5 - Anugerah Skrin
Above is the list of upcoming events that I have been invited to attend within the next few weeks.
Which means I have to think about what to wear for each of them..
Not that I am complaining at all. This is one of my favourite parts of my job!
And as part of my motto not to spend money unnecessarily, I am not allowed to buy anything new, I have to go through my wardrobe and create outfits and looks with what I already have.
